My Opinion
About the Book
I thought that this book was very well done. It sent very strong meanings about teen violence, child abuse, judging people before getting to know them and friendship. There were a lot of themes in this book, such as friendship, family, and violence. I really enjoyed reading this book and it taught me things such as not to judge someone by the way they look. I would reccomend this book to Tiff because she enjoys reading books of this type and she could learn a few things from reading this book. This book sends me a strong meaning. I know that I have treated people badly before reading this book, even before I got to know them. You have to get to know a person before judging what kind of person they are.

About Teen Violence
I dislike teen violence. It hurts yourself as well as the other people around you. I believe that teens shouldn't be given a gun, switch blade, or any other type of weapon until they are 21. If a teen was to commit teen violence they should get help or talk to someone. I think teens need to learn to think before they do. They should think about the people around them and what they are doing to their future. If we all work together we can help to stop teen violence!
About Child Abuse
I wonder why parents have children if all they want to do is torture them and abuse them? I wish I could do something to help child abuse go away. The parents or many other people in their life should think about what they are doing to that child and ask themselves 'Would I like it if someone did that to me?' They should have feelings for others around them and learn to care about those people. I wonder how people could harm something as unharmful and loving as a child? God gives us children as a gift, not something to mistreat and hate! People should care and love for their children and cherish all of the time that they get to spend with him/her. Remember, what you do to others always comes back to bite you!
